Michelle Tam (she/her)

Michelle Tam is the Principal Investigator on this study. She is who you will be speaking with!

Michelle is a queer Asian cis-woman who was born and raised in Scarborough, Ontario. Michelle is a PhD candidate at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. Her research focuses are on LGBTQ2SIA+ health, sexual and reproductive health, reproductive technologies, and reproductive justice. Michelle also works with local social justice organizations and health services.

Lori Ross (she/her)

Dr. Lori Ross is a Co-Investigator on this study. She is an Associate Professor in the Social and Behavioural Health Sciences Division of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. Her research focuses on understanding the mental health and service needs of marginalized populations including 2SLGBTQ+ people, in order to improve access to services for these communities. Her most important job is being a Mom to her two kids, ages 14 and 7.

Amaya Perez-Brumer (she/her)

Dr. Amaya Perez-Brumer is a Co-Investigator on this study. She is an Assistant Professor in the Social and Behavioural Health Sciences Division of the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto. Her research focuses on critical global health, justice in HIV interventions, gender and sexual minorities, and science and technology studies.

Stu Marvel (she/they/he/pronoun friendly)

Dr. Stu Marvel is a Co-Investigator on this study. She is an Assistant Professor in Women’s, Gender, and Sexuality Studies (WGSS) at Emory University. Dr. Marvel’s research focuses on reproductive technology, kinship, vulnerability, and queer and feminist legal theory, as well as on questions of gender-based violence and sexual harm.

Ellis Greenberg (they/them)

Ellis Greenberg is a Research Assistant on this study. They just completed their Master of Education degree in Social Justice Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto. Ellis has over eight years of experience doing direct support and advocacy work with 2SLGBTQIA+ youth and adults. Academically, they focus on creating sexual violence prevention methodologies for trans, non-binary, and gender non-conforming young people. 

Kitty Rodé (they/them)

Kitty Rodé is a Graphic Designer for this study. They are a queer, disabled, South Asian artist who is passionate about storytelling, community building and design. They empower artists, businesses, grassroots movements and social justice organizations to share their stories and connect with wider audiences.
